Realme 6, the latest mid-budget smartphone, has recently gone on sale in India via Flipkart and the company’s official website. The key features on the newly-launched smartphone include quad rear camera setup, Realme UI based on Android 10, and 4,300mAh battery, among others. On the competition front in India, Realme 6 is up against Poco F1. Realme 6

Realme 6 features a 6.5-inch full-HD+ (1080×2400 pixels) Ultra Smooth display with 90Hz refresh rate, 20:9 aspect ratio, 90.5 percent screen-to-body ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. The smartphone supports dual-SIM (Nano) technology and runs Android 10 with Realme UI on top. Under the hood, the device is powered by octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T SoC, coupled with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x quad-channel RAM. It offers an internal storage of up to 128GB that can be expanded via microSD card (up to 256GB).

On the imaging front, Realme 6 comes equipped with a quad rear camera setup that houses a 64-megapixel Samsung GW1 primary sensor with an f/1.8 lens. The primary camera is assisted by an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.3 lens, 2-megapixel tertiary sensor with an f/2.4 lens for portrait shots, and a 2-megapixel quaternary sensor with an f/2.4 macro lens. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera with an f/2.0 lens.

Connectivity options on the smartphone include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include accelerometer, ambient light sensor, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. The device packs a 4,300mAh battery that supports 30W Flash Charge tech. Realme 6 measures 162.1×74.8×8.9mm and weigh 191 grams.

The price for the 4GB RAM + 64GB storage model of Realme 6 in India has been set at Rs 12,999. Whereas, the 6GB RAM + 64GB storage variant of Realme 6 costs Rs 14,999 and its 8GB RAM + 128GB variant carries a price tag of Rs 15,999. The smartphone comes in Comet Blue and Comet White colour shades.

Poco F1

Poco F1 features a 6.18-inch full-HD+ display with 500 nits peak brightness. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. The smartphone also comes with a special version of MIUI, called MIUI for Poco, based on Android 9 Pie. There is a dedicated Poco Launcher, centred around app drawer and customisations.

On the optics front, the Poco F1 is equipped with a dual-camera setup on the back with 12-megapixel Sony IMX363 and 5-megapixel sensors. On the front, Poco F1 has a 20-megapixel camera with HDR.

Additionally, the device comes with a 4,000mAh battery with Quick Charge 3.0 support, a microSD card slot (up to 256GB) and 4G LTE support. The smartphone is offered in Steel Blue, Graphite Black, and Rosso Red colours.

The 6GB RAM and 64GB storage model of Poco F1 cost Rs 17,999. The mid-variant with 128GB storage and 6GB RAM costs Rs 20,999. Lastly, the top-end variant with 256GB storage and 8GB RAM costs Rs 27,999.
