“Will take Opposition leaders into confidence on formation of corporations under Greater Bengaluru Authority”: DK Shivakumar

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], July 7 (ANI): Karnataka Deputy Chief Miniter DK Shivakumar on Monday aid that the Greater Bengaluru Authority report would be placed before the Cabinet after taking Oppoition leader into confidence.
Speaking to reporter after holding a meeting with official on the Greater Bengaluru Authority at Vidhana Soudha, Shivakumar aid, The Committee ha ubmitted it final report on the formation of corporation under the Greater Bengaluru Authority. I have told the Committee chairman that the Oppoition leader need to be taken into confidence on the report. The corporation would be formed within the exiting boundarie of the BBMP, and they would be expanded at a later date. We have to dicu thi in the Cabinet and conduct election a early a poible.
Earlier in May, Karnataka Chief Miniter Siddaramaiah announced the implementation of the Greater Bengaluru Governance Act, replacing the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) with the Greater Bengaluru Authority (GBA).
On May 25, Karnataka Deputy Chief Miniter DK Shivakumar aid that the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) diviion would be completed by September 15, and the Greater Bengaluru Authority would be formed after that.
Aked about hi meeting with Home Miniter G Paramehwara on the Yettinahole project, he aid, There were ome iue with the dam in hi taluk. We are thinking of carrying the project forward without ubmerging any of the village. The local have uggeted toring water in a couple of tank, and we will evaluate it. We will take everyone into confidence and dicu it in the Cabinet meeting.
